00 Setup your own Home Page.
The page will include progress reports (to be updated at least once/week), describing each step of building your CAPC processor. You should be able to view and study the format of previous Web reports via CAPC processor in Google or Project Presentation 2002 . After completion, your Web reports will be mirrored/housed in wadanet.com Website.

01 Laboratory 1 - Clock Unit.
Design/Build a clock unit of CAPC in LW4. (Refer to the Lab1 specification by clicking here). The Lab Report (.CCT files) is due on January 25th, 10:00pm. The first Web Journal be also published by this date. Send an email as soon as possible to the Instructor if you do not have free access to your own Web page. (See the Bulletinboard.)

02 Laboratory 2 - Registers and a Skeletal Processor.
Design/Build a Skeletal Processor with 12-bit and 16-bit registers in LW4. (Refer to the Lab2 specification by clicking here). The Lab Report (.CCT files) is due on February 1st, 10:00pm.

03 Laboratory 3 - Skeletal Processor 2.
Add more functionality to the Skeletal Processor you have created in (02). The Lab3 manual is as follows. The Lab3 Report (.CCT files) is due on February 15th, 10:00pm.

04 Laboratory 5/6 - CAPC Processor Stage 1.
Install 16 bit general purpose register, Greg. Wire the Machine Instruction LDG, load G register. The Lab5/6 manual is as follows. The Lab5/6 Report (.CCT files) is due on March 7th, 10:00pm.

05 Laboratory 7 - CAPC Processor Stage 2.
Replace PROM with a RAM. Test the processor with the Machine Instruction LDG, load G register. The Lab7 manual is as follows. The Lab7 Report (.CCT files) is due on March 14th, 10:00pm.

06 Laboratory 8 - CAPC Processor Stage 3.
Replace PROM with a RAM. Wire the Machine Instruction SDG, send G register. The Lab8 manual is as follows. The Lab8 Report (.CCT files) is due on March 21th, 10:00pm.

07 Laboratory 9 - CAPC Processor.
Attach ALU unit. Wire the Machine Instruction ADD, Add G register. The Lab9 manual is as follows. The Lab9 Report (.CCT files) is due on March 28th, 10:00pm.

08 Presentation - CAPC Processor.
Bring your CAPC processor and show the last successful Labx experiment. (Almost all of you have finished Lab9). The Instructor will operate your CAPC to run a test program - such as this. It is assumed that your CAPC has at least 7 machine instructions: HLT, ADD, LDG, SDG, JMI, JMP, and NOP.
